Well, I really don’t know what to say on this blog post
since we really haven’t had class. I’ve
decided to change my topic on my Analysis.
Instead of doing Recovery by Eminem I’ve decided to analyze a single
song by Eminem called “White America.” I
feel like this will also be an interesting topic and I will have a easier time
finding more credible sources for my information. So I have to re-do my annotated bibliography
and also type up my rough draft for class on Wednesday .

Thesis Statement
In 2010, Eminem released his 12th album titled “Recovery”
which ended up going 4x Platinum. But
there is also something special about this album. Eminem has been known to place subliminal
disses into his songs. This means, that
if you fully understand what exactly he is talking about, he is actually
dissing other rappers. If you really
look into some of the lines in the songs, you will find many of these messages
that are in this album. These lines are
significant because it makes fun of other rappers, especially Lil Wayne. These lines are also significant because
these lines alter the way that these songs can be listened. It makes listening to the songs more enjoyable. Eminem had different reasons for each thing
he said so in order to understand each subliminal diss the entire album needs
to be analyzed.

I will attempt to put this past week into at least 100 words
seeing as it was a little short. Unfortunately Mickey’s car broke down so we
did not have class on Monday. I’m guessing a lot of the work we had Wednesday
was supposed to be on Monday. Wednesday we got to start a group poster which
actually was kind of fun. Except for
when I got the perfect article for our poster but I couldn’t use it because it
was from Wikipedia. Oh well, I’m pretty
sure our poster project is going to be amazing anyways.

This week in class was interesting. This week was interesting all thanks to Carrie. That was probably the weirdest movie I have ever seen in the history of forever. Especially the first 15 minutes of the movie. Also, the movie never came out and said specifically that she was telekinetic, so I was mad that stuff was flying around places for no reason until I caught on. Te part of the movie I really liked though was when everyone in the gym gets trapped, killed and burned. That was intense. But the ending of the movie was weird because I am not sure why the house just randomly fell apart and caught on fire. That is still a mystery.
